Understanding Trust Levels in Startax Forum
Startax Forum uses five trust levels to protect new users and reward active contributors. As you participate and learn the rules, you’ll unlock new privileges and responsibilities.
Level 0 – New
- Who: Just registered.
- Key restrictions:
Cannot send private messages.- Limited to 3 topics and 10 replies.
- Restrictions on images, links, and mentions.
- Cannot edit posts after 24 h.
Level 1 – Basic
- How to reach:
- Read ≥ 30 posts across ≥ 5 topics.
- Spend ≥ 10 minutes reading.
- Privileges:
Send private messages.- Upload images/files.
- Edit wiki posts.
- Mute users.
Level 2 – Member
- How to reach:
- Visit ≥ 15 days (non-consecutive).
- Read ≥ 100 posts.
- Participate in ≥ 3 different topics.
- Give and receive ≥ 1 “like.”
- Privileges:
- Invite others to topics with one click.
- Increased daily edit & flag limits.
- Ignore users.
- Edit own posts up to 30 days after posting.
Level 3 – Regular
- How to reach (last 100 days):
- Visit ≥ 50 % of days.
- Read ≥ 25 % of new topics & posts.
- Give ≥ 30 and receive ≥ 20 “likes.”
- Receive ≤ 5 spam/offensive flags.
- No suspensions or mutes in last 6 months.
- Privileges:
- Recategorize & rename topics.
- Access exclusive categories.
- Remove “nofollow” from own links.
- Turn posts into wiki.
- TL3 flags on TL0 posts hide them instantly.
Level 4 – Leader
- How to reach: Manually promoted by staff.
- Privileges:
- Edit any post.
- Pin/unpin, close, and archive topics.
- Split & merge threads.
- TL4 flags take immediate effect.
- Send messages to email addresses.
